Installed Roush Front Bumper, front and side splitters

Installed roush front bumper, front and side splitters. I ordered from everything blue oval industries and got a good deal. I was worried because of some of the things I read about BOI but everything came direct from Roush and in good shape.

Front bumper cover was a perfect color match from Roush (as others told me to expect). That was great.

The install for everything was not bad at all. Knocked out the bumper and front splitter in an afternoon. Took a break and finished the side splitters a couple days after. All was pretty straightforward. The Roush instructions were spot on. -- I think they did require a few tools I didn't need (a 9/32 drill bit and a 5.5mm deep socket).

I am very pleased with the results. Thought I'd share the pics! Hope you enjoy!

Beautiful! I have mine in the garage, still need to order the lower grille. Plus the older I get, the less inclined I am to go outside in the cold

Looks great, congrats! How much did the bumper and front + side splitters run ya? I am thinking about doing the same setup.

Thanks. It was $1025 from Blue oval Industries including free shipping.

I wish they made a hexagon grille shell for the lower. That would look very OEM, sorry guys, grille bars just got burnt out for me when every custom truck has the horizontal billet grille on it. I just wanted out.

Classic has some OEM lower grille fill for the early S197, that's what I'd like to see here.

The grilles on these cars look very OEM. Probably why Ford makes them available as an OEM option on the GT/CS and the sixer.

Sorry, but a big gaping grille surround with a billet grille on a F150 doesn't even look remotely like the Mustang with a black billet grille. That's like saying you will never buy a convertible because some older crapboxes have landau tops covering their roof. C'mon...

I never said they looked bad, I said that I am burnt out on them. I don't like the GT/CS or MCA grille either. I also think the Roush fascia and grille inserts do look very OEM, but that's not the point I was trying to make. I was focusing on the pattern used in the GT grille.

I would rather go with the Roush grille over the GT/CS personally. As I don't hate the grille, just isn't as appealing to me as it is to others. The parts that Roush produces are the most factory looking parts I've seen.

And just so you know, I saw a second gen Maxima with a Landau top on it last night! So somebody loves the Landau

No, you didn't say they looked bad. I'm just irritable and grouchy. Sorry!

Gawd, that must have been a sight to see...I never understood that look. It's not a freaking carriage, it's a CAR! Grrrrr.

Well, it's good that I didn't say what I had intended which was, "Don't get your panties in a wad." Thinking, that this would be a humorous thing to say to a woman. I then realized that when I think this, things tend to go wrong, so I am on a new kick of trying to outwit what gets communicated with more intelligent conversation. Others may not agree.

It's totally ok, to be a grouch, I have man PMS. See.

Oh, I didn't know what to think about the Maxima, I honestly thought, "could this be? Oh my!" yes, my inner dialog is straight out of the 1940's. But I didn't know if I should applaud the effort or be astounded, so I just laughed for a while.

I was getting frustrated with a project at work and trying to clear my mind with some Stang talk, lol. You just got caught in the crossfire by even remotely disagreeing with me LETTHATBEALESSONTOYOU, GAR!!!

FWIW, the wad comment would have been hilarious and diffused my grouchness instantly - next time, go with your instinct
