I was wondering what the distributer Point Gap should be on a 1966 Mustang with a 200 6 cylinder engine. I got about 19,000 but was wondering if it should be less or more

.019-.021 is spec.

I came up with a point gap of ~.024 for the 6-cylinder cars.

Dwell is a better way to check adjustment - it should be 38* - 40*, IIRC. :scratch:

I'll defer to your point gap spec. My source was iffy on the subject.

When in doubt, you can also use the cover off a book of matches as a gauge. That's an old school trick in case you ever get stranded.
